Coming up tomorrow is your opportunity to see the noise collage, Motorik-influenced Chicago band Disappears playing at the Museum of Contemporary Art from 6pm-7pm. Admission is free and no RSVP is required. Tuesday’s set is part of the museum’s monthly Face The Strange series.
Disappears second record for Kranky came out in January and having seen them once before I can attest that they are even spunkier live than on wax. In addition, the current lineup of Disappears includes Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth on drums. Wow! Don’t let the predicted rain and cold keep you from this event.
